To combat the noise dilemma, it was essential first to decode the root of these disruptive vibrations. This led SPS to develop a tester mimicking real-world furniture usage. Initial tests, involving plastic sleeves on spring hooks, promised a simple fix but yielded minimal noise reduction. An attempt to envelop the entire spring in a plastic sleeve showed only a slightly better outcome.

But at SPS, we're driven by challenges. Our quest for excellence led us to the revelation that the key wasn't the amount of plastic but maximizing surface contact to mitigate vibration spread. The innovative minds at the Southern Precision Spring Secondary Department turned to flexible foam, designed to mold to the spring's inner diameter. This approach heralded a significant drop in noise, contingent on the spring's coil count and inner diameter.

Today, having refined this solution, we cater to diverse markets with our noise dampening technology. At SPS, we take immense pride in being a proactive supplier, ceaselessly exploring ways to address latent challenges our clients might face. Whether on the manufacturing floor or out in the field, our commitment remains unwavering: to serve and solve.
