What to Send for a Spring Design Review
To begin a technical review, provide any available part drawings, CAD files, samples or assembly information. Helpful requirements include the available space, required load or torque, working travel, operating environment, preferred material, expected cycle life and annual production volume.

If a complete drawing is not yet available, SPS can review the functional requirements and identify the additional information needed to evaluate manufacturability.
How the Engineering Review Works
Our team evaluates the proposed geometry, material, tolerances, stress conditions and manufacturing requirements. When appropriate, we can recommend practical adjustments intended to improve manufacturability, reliability or project value before prototype or production tooling begins.
Manufactured to Your Drawing and Performance Requirements
Every custom spring or wire form begins with a review of the part geometry, material, dimensional tolerances, load or torque requirements, operating environment and expected production volume. Depending on the component, SPS can support prototype development, production planning, secondary finishing, assembly and application-specific inspection.

Inspection may include dimensional verification, load testing, torque testing, leg-position checks, custom gauges and other requirements identified on the approved drawing. Material certifications, PPAP documentation and additional quality records can be discussed during the quoting process.
